Songs of the 4 Directions
The Great Spirit’s highest thought is the human soul.
Here we explore the songs of the powers of the four directions in each of the cardinal directions.
Here we explore the songs of the powers of the four directions in each of the cardinal directions.
SOUTH
The powers of the south nurture the heart of the human soul, and the element od water leads this song, as it is our primary teacher of the energy of giving. Water shows us how to be fluid and open in our emotions, not stuck in emotionality or emotionalism. Weather water flows gently in a quiet stream, meanders around rocks in its path, or rages in rapids and waterfalls, it demonstrates a non-resistance, a giving or surrender to the contours of the landscape, not as giving in, or submitting as a victim of something stronger, but rather as surrendering to the free-flowing expression of itself. Water will not be denied. It gives itself to all empty spaces in its path despite the landscape, whether open of filled with obstacles.
The plant world gives us beauty, oxygen and food. It gives us life and teaches us to be openhearted, to love and to give unconditional, no strings attached, no baggage. Sister Moon influences the ebb and flow the waters on the planet and of the red blood rivers of our body. Trust and innocence here do not mean naivety or ignorance or weakness. Rather, trust is knowing that we are an integral part of the interconnection, and interdependence of all things and are part of something much greater than ourselves. Innocence means to simply be who we are, to be in our own essence, like water.
When we are in alignment with these powers and honour them in our lives, the little girl and little boy inside us embrace the world with open joyful hearts in trust and innocence, and it is through them that we create our music, the heart communication of the Twenty Count and the Great Spirit.

WEST
The powers of the West nurture the body of the human soul, and th element of earth takes the lead in demonstrating for us how to develop strength and stability in our bodies. The mineral world contains all the forms and textures of the earth elect, which provide the solid substance of the planet, the body of Grand-mother Earth, and demonstrate how to hold and transform energy. It also provides the basic sustenance for life, absorbing and holding the potent rays of the sun which Grandmother Earth takes deep into her body, into her magma. Through magic and alchemy she transforms that fertile energy and births her children, the myriad and magnificent forms of life on the planet.
When we are in alignment with these powers and honour them, our inner warrior can go deep within through the process of introspection, and access our intuition and the strength of our bodily knowing. Wisdom and knowledge are not seen or heard, they are felt in our bodies. When we welcome death and change as part of our evolution into excellence. As human beings, the body of the Great Spirit and the Twenty Count is expressed through Magick and alchemy.

NORTH
The powers of the North nurture the mind of the human soul. The element of air or wind shows us how to be mentally clear and flexible and teaches us how to receive with our mind. Whether as a gentle breeze or as a fierce hurricane, this elect aligns with us to clear the cobwebs, fog, and toxic smog that often masquerade as pretence brain chatter and dogmatic belief systems so that we can access the wisdom of our sacred mind and see reality for what it truly is.
The anima world, also known as sweet medicine, offers perfect examples of inner balance and harmony. Animals naturally receive energy, and in doing so they can adapt and align with Nature and natural forces. Animals teach us to accept ourselves for who we are because they are so in alignment with who they are.
The stars, and our fascination with them, challenge us to stretch beyond our limitations, to use our imaginations to explore the unknown.. Their siren song lures us off the planet. In looking back, we see the beauty and magnificent uniqueness of our home, which prompts a greater appreciation and wisdom in our relationship with her.
When we resonate with these North powers, our inner adult seeks to live in harmony with all peoples and align with Nature, the Goddess Beauty, instead of warring with her. Only then can our philosophies promote the development of sciences and technologies that reflect the strength of mind of the Great Spirit.

EAST
The powers of the East co-empower the spirit of the human soul. The element of fire is called the determiner of energy that funnels our expansive imagination, our fire within that burns with passion and artistic originality, and represents our true nature spirit personality. It is the fire of spirit that seeks to grow and to learn, the desire of the soul to return to the before as one with the Great Spirit. Fire also symbolises for us the spark of Grandfather sun that empowers us to be spiritual determiners seeking illumination and alignment as luminous beings. The world of balanced humans - and the key word here is balanced - teaches us how how to determine with our spirit and be in dominion with all things, preserving and protecting the balance and harmony of life on the planet.
When we honour these sacred powers of the East, our spirit child within experiences joy and aliveness, explores the edges, leaps into the unknown to find illuminations there. It is through our art and literature, through the inspired artistic expression of this spirit child that the spirit of the Twenty Count and the great Spirit communicate.

CENTRE
The Void in the centre of the wheel/Triangle of Life is called the black hole of creation within which that first scared breath, the spiritual-sexual Quodoushka union of WahKahn and SsKwan, birthed all forms of all things of everything. It is the catalyst that ignites the fire, the prime mover of all else in all all directions on this wheel of wheels. It is our sexual catalyst energy, our life force, our soul. Balanced sexuality and orgasticness are the key to our alignment and balance in all directions on the wheel. They open our hearts with intimacy and fluidity, raise the orende, prowess, and strength of our bodies, expand our minds with flexibility and clarity, full our imaginations and spark our creativity and originality and catalyse our spiritual evolution towards the freedom of formlessness and resurrection. The free-will expression of our sexual soul force energy catalyses the Everything’s ever-evolving experience of itself.
